Episode accounts are automatically created when installing Episode on your device for the first time.
You will receive an automatically generated Support ID, Username, and Password that can be found in the Episode settings.
Signing in to your email for the first time will create a new Episode Profile and will link the new Episode Profile to the account on your device.
One Episode Account (your story progress, gems, passes) can be linked to multiple Episode Social Profiles/Emails (your avatar, recommend stories list, self-written stories list, etc), but a Profile/Email can only be linked to one Episode Reading Account at a time.
If your email is already linked to an older account, then signing in to that email will load your old account story progress to your device instead of linking to your new account. This is useful for transferring to a new device, or restoring after a factory reset.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a new account (ie: reset all story progress, passes, gems, etc) via the Profile and email login system.
New accounts are only created when installing Episode for the first time on your device or after factory resetting your device. If you reset your device, or get a new device, and then create a new account - logging in to your old email that was linked to your old account will load your old account and remove your new account. To keep the new account, you will need to link a new email, or contact support to unlink your old email from your old account.
