Story Information Missing Error

This error message means that your app is unable to load this story. This can occur for various reasons, the most common being the following:

1. Bad sharelink. If you are attempting to read someone else's story via a sharelink, please instead use the search feature to locate the story in the app if the story is already published. If you are attempting to preview your own self-written story, please instead use the Create section of the app and log in with your Writer's Portal account to preview your story in Mobile Creator. If you do not yet have the Create section in the app, you may not have unlocked this feature yet. In this case, please use the Writer's Portal browser previewer until your app is fully unlocked.
2. Your app is out of date. Please check the app store to make sure you have the most recent version of Episode installed on your device.
3. The story has errors in the code. Sometimes when an author is in the middle of updating their story, accidental errors can occur. If you see this error message despite not using a sharelink to access the story, there may be an error in the story code that the author needs to fix.

You may also experience this issue if you previously read this story before it was published with the sharelink, and there were more chapters available in the unpublished version than what the author published. For example: the unpublished version had 5 chapters, but only 3 chapters were published. If this is the case, the issue is occurring because of the unpublished chapters, and will be resolved when the author publishes all chapters that you previously had access to.
