How much will I get paid?

Earnings are calculated based on the popularity of your published story. Every time an Episode player reads a chapter of your story on their device, you will earn a read for that story. At the end of the month, we calculate how many reads you’ve earned in total and pay you accordingly.

The monthly rate (i.e., the amount you're paid per read) is based on a number of factors related to Episode as a whole, and will change each month. Your total earnings for a month are determined by the total number of reads you receive across all eligible stories and the applicable monthly rate. 

Additionally, if you choose to include any of the gem options in your story you can earn a separate Gem Bonus Payment each month as well. Everytime an Episode player uses a gem as they read through your story, that gem will contribute to the total gem count for your story for that month. The monthly rate you earn for your Gem Bonus is also based on a number of factors and will change each month.
